Interpretive Talks
During your time at Fox Island, join the National Park Ranger for an intrepretive talk covering a wealth of information about the flora, fauna, and unique geology of Fox Island as well as the history of Kenai Fjords National Park.
You'll have an opportunity to enjoy an insightful slideshow about the glaciers and wildlife of Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park. A Ranger presentation is given towards the end of your meal service in the Fox Island Day Lodge.
Overnight guests can take advantage of a private talk presented by the National Park Ranger each afternoon at the Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge. If the weather is nice, walk with your Ranger along the beach and experience the vibrance of this beautiful temperate rainforest region. Or if you prefer, settle in next to our wood burning stove as you listen to the stories or check out some of the artifacts on display.
