Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge Refresh your spirit at a spectacular wilderness destination surrounded by Alaskan coastline.

Destination: Located 125 miles south of Anchorage, Seward is the gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park. From the Seward's Small Boat Harbor, travel by boat to the heart of Resurrection Bay for a relaxing getaway at our private lodge on Fox Island.

Cabin Amenities: There are 8 non-smoking cabins that offer one double and one twin size bed, a private bathroom with shower, table and chairs, a heat source, solar and wind generator powered electric lighting, and a battery powered alarm clock. No telephone, television or radio to interrupt this peaceful getaway.

Wilderness Lodge: The Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge is used exclusively by guests who overnight on Fox Island. Relax in the quaint sitting room equipped with a wood burning stove, books, games and a view that will take your breathe away.

Dining: Lunch in the day lodge features an all-you-can-eat salmon bake lunch. Chicken or vegetarian lasagna is available upon request. Guests who overnight on Fox Island are treated to a gourmet dinner and breakfast prepared by our chef dine in the Wilderness Lodge. Meals include coffee, tea, ice tea, lemonade and juice for breakfast. Beer and wine may be purchased.

Special Events / Meetings: We can arrange meetings, exclusive meals, weddings and special events on Fox Island for groups from 25 - 300 people. Limited audio visual equipment is available with advance reservations.

Activities: Join our naturalist for a narrative walk along the beach, hiking or test your skill at skipping stones. In the evening gather around the campfire or in the Wilderness Lodge to hear stories about former resident Rockwell Kent.

Gift Shop: Open during lunch, the Fox Island gift shop sells cards, souvenirs, clothing, keepsakes and limited sundries.

Fox Island Overnight Package: This deluxe package includes the cruise from Seward to Fox Island, overnight accommodations, and a cruise into Kenai Fjords National Park. The package meals included are lunch, dinner, breakfast and lunch. Transportation to Seward may be booked with Alaska Heritage Tours when booking the Fox Island Overnight Package.
